Beautiful band! I can’t wait to see how the leather ages/breaks in. It came very quickly and the customer service was fantastic!

Great quality strap, makes my moto 360 look amazing. I have got more compliments since I received this band in the last week than the entire 6 months I have owned the watch! Seller was also very responsive and tailored it to my exact specifications. If you are looking for a quality band, that fits perfect, at a reasonable price look no further.

I was looking for a leather strap for my new AW 7 (for the first time) and I loved the look of the Bandwerk Stockholm band, but could not justify the price. I searched around and found Primria leather. In fact, I stumbled upon / u / primria on this sub, and he answered some questions for me. I had seen his etsy shop, but had not connected the dots. Then I took a look at his website https://strap.primria.com
I chatted with / u / primria via DM and asked if he could do what I wanted. We went back and forth on leather color, stitch type and color, locking materials, etc. I had a request to have black links that matched Midnight AW and stainless steel lock to complement the leather (my personal choice), and he said yes. The strap is in double-sided leather, something I appreciated since I was looking for a slightly thick and solid piece. He offered to paint or polish the side of the strap, and I chose a light polish.
For $ 56 USD (selling price) I was willing to try it. I’m glad I did.
When it arrived I was a little disappointed to find out that the leather was really orange in color and very stiff / dry. Apart from the vibrant color, I was happy. I got in touch via email, and Herman was happy to make some suggestions on using mink oil to darken it a bit. I used a couple of coats of foot oil to hydrate the leather and make it a little darker, and it definitely toned down the brightness and gave it a richer tone and really softened it up. I finally applied a thin layer of mink oil (about a week between treatments) for waterproofing.
I am very happy with the result. The neat foot definitely made things a little darker, but it also brought out some dark stain defects in the leather. What can I really say, it is a natural product.
The turnaround time was relatively fast (to Canada from Asia), the communication was excellent, customization was exactly what I wanted, and the price is right. Time will tell about its longevity, but I have no reason to believe that it will not stay well. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone who had to be out and give a little tribute to u / primria for his great service and great product.
